If you're interested in supporting a student's music education please do consider one of the options available here. The Goa Jazz Academy gets applicants from across India who do not have the means to pursue a professional or serious education in music.
In the past scholarship students such as Clifton Sequeira and Swizel Costa, who come from the tiny village of Majorda have benefited tremendously by scholarship funds - and their progress has been tremendous, in 2019 they were part of an ensemble playing at the Jazz India Circuit (one of South Asia's most prestigious jazz festivals").
Once your funds are allotted to a student, The Academy will provide a monthly report on their progress.
The basic option for support provides 4 lessons to a student which covers a month of study.
